How to apply for pre-accreditation:
To become accredited, please fill in the Media registration form available on this page and send a scanned copy of your valid professional press card via email to
info@wwec2011.net (Subject: Press Accreditation) Deadline: 17
th of October, 2011.
The status of your accreditation will be confirmed no later than 2 weeks after the submission of your accreditation form. Online accreditation will assure that you will receive your press badge and press kit upon arrival at the press registration desk. To ensure a smooth and easy access to the conference the organizers strongly recommend applying for the accreditation online as early as possible.
The following persons may receive on-site press accreditation:
Persons from Egypt or abroad who can demonstrate their journalistic (or photojournalistic) activities as follows:
a) by presenting the original copy of articles bearing the author’s name and which were published no earlier than six months prior to the WWEC2011,
b) by presenting a written, original copy of an editorial job assignment for the WWEC2011,
c) by providing a web link to an online publication, of which that person is the originator, which is established within the respective trade fair community. In such cases pre-accreditation is necessary due to an extended verification process.
Onsite accreditation will be granted during the entire conference, provided the accreditation form and other required supporting documents are completed on location. However to avoid delays at the conference, it is advisable to apply for online accreditation in advance.
Press Center:
The Press Center will be available in the Conference venue and accessible for accredited journalists. It will provide work stations, computers, desks and hook ups for working with your own laptop, WIFI internet access, printers, fax machines and mobile signal. At the press center you will also find copies of speeches, press releases, the conference programme, a press conference schedule and other relevant information as well as a contact person in case of any questions.
